As a child Chris suffered from every allergy possible and he spent most of his childhood either in hospital, or inside the house. As soon as he could, he just wanted to play sport and was always playing cricket, soccer, badminton, and athletics in his younger days.
When it was time to choose where he wanted his studies and career to take him he just HAD to study the function and mechanics of the human body.
During his Bachelor of Sports Science Degree, Chris began working in a Recreation Centre and gym and decided that he wanted to coach people to be fit, healthy, and strong!
Chris finished his degree, then studied his Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness to become a Personal Trainer. He also studied Injury Rehabilitation and Management within the gym setting, then 10 years into his career he realised he wanted to do more for people.
He didn’t want to send anyone away to have their injuries treated and realised that if he could treat them himself he would be providing them with the best possible service. Chris then completed his Cert 4, Remedial Massage Diploma, and Dry Needling qualification, and has been treating his client’s pain, injuries, mechanical deficiencies, and postural issues for the past 6 years.
After 17 years as a PT, with 6 years incorporating Remedial Massage and Dry Needling, Chris feels like he has a great ‘balance’ of skills to coach people in a physical and holistic way.
He assists people in obtaining that optimal balance of strong, healthy and flexible muscles and getting them performing and functioning the way they truly desire.
Chris is a seasoned Ninja Warrior and has competed in the last 3 World Championship’s. He is constantly working on finding that optimum training and recovery balance as he knows first hand what it feels like when the body is put under too much stress without adequate recovery.
